Proceed to Litchfield, then Turn left
Saturday afternoon, the planes are streaking to America over central Maine. The blogdog and I are raking leaves. Suddenly, one of the flights starts turning as shown.
To make it more interesting, the aircraft proceeded to return to its original course (a bit south of due west) about the time it met the horizon. If the contrail had remained, it would have looked like a big “S”. The bright light at the top where the plane enters the scene is the sun and not any high energy event connected to the aircraft or its route.
To continue the story of the bridges on the snow machine track around the beaver bog, here is bridge Alpha as noted in an earlier posting. Some concerned citizens or the property owner have “red-taped” it. It is not easy to see here, but at least one post on the far side is looking dubious. The decking is also deteriorating.
