At the credit union we had a craft fair for benefit of the Maine Special Olympics organization, on Saturday. Some of the articles came from foreign countries via the Ten Thousand Villages organization.[ref] Ten Thousand Villages provides vital, fair trade income to Third World people by marketing their handicrafts and telling their stories in North America.[/ref]

We also had some local crafters and served seafood stew, cream of broccoli soup, American chop-suey, lobster finger rolls, crab finger rolls, and baked goodies.
