Snow at Mystic
I also cleared a path to the oil tank filler pipes and access for the Saab. The Saab started right up and worked flawlessly on a Big-Y run (successor to the A&P). Images of the gatehouse and the mountain laurel at the Money Point road intersection were from the cell-phone (forgot my camera) through a dirty windshield. People going toward Enders Isl. better know which way to go because the ploughed snow has covered the sign.
Long icicles hung from the roof edges and the deck. This reminds me of the pictures of icicles on the gantry for space-shuttle Challenger twenty-five years ago. Lucky for me, I only had to launch an old Saab.
Half the driveway was plowed (left side) and there is a large windrow at the garage edge. A glacial till of driveway stones will be found in the spring along this line. Half the driveways on the island have been plowed to some extent. Half of the driveways not plowed are in use, with residents just driving in their tracks.
The right-of-ways for the cove and at the Little Beach are snow-bound and there is enough snow depth to deter booted individuals from attempting passage. I did not bring my show-shoes with me on this trip.

Great pics and story
