The official, hood-of-my-truck, measurement of this storm’s snowfall: 10.5 inches. This is alot of snow; with our metal roof on the garage, this volume slides down onto the driveway regularly throughout the storm. By accumulating in front of the garage doors, this avalanche volume is impressive from a snow removal perspective. The earlier it slides off and the later Wally arrives to plow the driveway, the less I have to manage.

We have had a cable TV outage but power has remained on.

The temperatures were about freezing at the beginning of the storm, so it is wet and compact. Today, the sun came out and we hit 40F during the snow removal work.
