The battle of Fall River

From the archives and the magic of photo software, images from November 1967 and a trip to the battleship USS Massachusetts in Fall River.
John, Jim, and Jack look for Japaneses zeros at the anti-aircraft guns.
Jack prepares for AA firing.
I was able to tease out more color from this image and it took many adjustments to the many variables; right now, my positive outcomes are purely accidental, as demonstrated in the next image.
Jim stands on the 16-inch gun barrel of the forward turret.
The original ektachrome slide had color in it, I am sure. Of course, everything on the ship was gray, but, Jim had some color in his shirt and pink in his cheek. If one needs evidence that photographic media fades over time, I have it here in this collection.
