This is the Bear: one of the blogdogs. He usually is a dog with a black nose but he has a trait where cold weather will turn his nose pink. Really.

I have discovered that if you go for a four hour ride with him in the car when the temperatures are 20F or so AND you leave the back window down a couple of inches, at the end of the ride, his nose is pink. I thought it might be frost bite or something but his nose was quite warm to the touch.
