This is the most sophisticated tree stand I have found around our property since moving to Maine. Camouflage netting is used to obscure the occupant in military fashion. I am not sure if they have openings to point the gun through or not? The netting may get lowered or removed when it is manned. There are open sight lines arrayed to the right.

I have regularly found one to four stands scattered around the acres hereabouts. In most cases, they are up all year round. All but one have been moved each year to different locations. One of them has not been moved for several years and I think it is abandoned.

There has been no news regarding the two deer shot as reported earlier.
