We received a last day of winter surprise with about a foot of snow. Then we got some cold weather to follow. This means the usual Spring snow that comes and melts right away has yet to arrive.

The bog looks nice and wintery; the creek has ice and snow and a high water level.

There are a few of us who think the snow in Spring is great fun.
