During our new year’s day patrol, the blogdog was showing off his alligator mode.

One branch of the backwoods trail looks like this in the second image here. For anyone who questions, “what do you mean by ‘ice'”; the third image is instructive. Again, not only having an ice event like this is unusual (one every ten years…), the consistently low temperatures after an ice storm is unusual. We are approaching two weeks of this ice on everything.
