Our backwoods has an excellent snow base for once. About fourteen inches have fallen in thirty-six hours and temperatures have remained at or below freezing. It is a winter wonderland!

At left is a view down the trail by the upper bog; Sunday mid-morning, fresh snow for a pleasant snow-shoe hike halfway around the beaver bog.
