These egrets were spotted by brother Tommy. This is only a partial shot of the entire crowd assembled along the east side of the ice pond on Saturday. There are eighteen here. I approached them from Ice Pond lane and they were oblivious to my presence.

While walking past the northern end of the ice pond, we witnessed the landing of a somewhat unruly Canada geese squadron at the southern end.
