During the summer of 1983, I rode my bike through western Europe between June 5 and early September. I recently digitized these images from the approximately 720 slides I took during the trip.

The following pictures are from my passage through Amsterdam in early August. I was riding from the Rhine valley in Germany to Dunkirk, in France, on the English Channel, in order to catch a ferry to England.
