For days 24 and 25 in Corona-ville, we got weird rain that was chunky and white. Temperatures were 33-36F and it just kept falling, maybe 8-10 inches.
We speculated that this is Mother Nature’s way of enforcing the stay-at-home quarantine.
Day 21 of the coronal retirement; the middle bog now has a couple acres of water due to the continued development by the beavers. They have added another dam on the stream. With some recent rains, the amount of water now retained is impressive.
In this image, none of the water shown was around two years ago when the beavers started here. This area was previously cleared by loggers and appeared like the foreground shown here. The bog itself is in the background, center and left. The original stream was narrow and flows along the edge of the tree-line on the right.
